|Cool down you graphics accelerator chipset !|
Same procedure as when you sand down the VapoChill evaporator.
Use a flat file to sand - with emery paper attached to it.
As usual start with grit 1000 then 2000 and end polishing it with 6000 ...
Clean the videocard with electric cleaner to remove any deposits after the sanding .. Put on the thermal paste using a brush .. see that we have left two corners without paste ?
Thats done for fastening .. a tiny drop off superglue in each corner ... And you will be maybe :) -- be able to get the cooler off again if you ever decide to do that .. use a razor blade ... ( Basically you can install a heatsink where ever you want using ocshoot's method )
Align the fan and slap it on .. put a couple off heavy books on top of the fan to press the heatsink down to the chipset ....leave it under heavy pressure for 30 minutes.
This is another - and better way to fasten the heatsink :
Drill holes in the heatsink.
Fasten the nuts on the adapter with superglue - aligned with the holes you drilled in the heatsink. This trick can be used on whatever you wanna fasten - the nylon bolts when superglued on a pcb almost impossible to get off again
Celeron fan on the graphics adapter !
