Are you pissed at all those Slockets out there that no big heatsinks will fit on because the handle is raging high above the core. This is especially a problem with the FC-PGA processors because the core is so small. You then got two choices, buy a new slocket - or modify the one you have.

This is an Abit Slocket with a FC-PGA 650E in it. As you can see, the handle is raging high above the processor core.

And then - ten seconds later. Problem solved.

This is the modified Slocket in all its beauty... also take notice to the precisionmachined plate we have made around the core off the 650E. This plate has two advantages, it keeps big heatsinks sit even on the core, and it greatly increases the cooling. (Because heat spreads around the core also due to the coppermines design... )
